Action: Juniperberry is used as an antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, detoxifier, diuretic, cleanser and tonic. It may be used to help with acne, dermatitis, and eczema. May help with coughs, depression, infections, kidney stones, liver problems, muscle aches, obesity, ulcers, urinary infections, water retention and wounds.
Application: Apply topically to the wrists, behind the ears, and on the neck and face as well as point of need. May be applied as a compress and diluted for use during a massage. Diffuse.
Fragrance Influence: Calming and stabilizing.
Companion Oils: Blends well with bergamot, citrus oils, cypress, geranium, lavender, melaleuca and rosemary.
Safety Data: Consult with physician if pregnant or under doctor's care. Test small area of skin prior to use for sensitivity. If skin irritation occurs, do not use water to wash, but use a carrier oil to dilute. Wash hands thoroughly after using oils. Avoid contact with eyes. Not for use on children 6 years and younger.
