Action: Lemon oil is used for anxiety, blood pressure, dissolving cellulite, clarity of thought, digestive problems, strengthening and hardening of the nails, respiratory problems, cleansing of the skin and promotes a sense of overall well-being. It is an anticancer, antidepressant, antiseptic, antifungal, antioxidant, antiviral, and an astringent.
Application: Apply topically to the wrists, behind the ears, and on the neck and face as well as point of need. Rub between hands and breathe in the fragrance. Dilute with carrier oil. Can be used as perfume. Diffuse. Great to use on a damp rag as a household cleaner.
Fragrance Influence: Lemon is sweet and clear.
Companion Oils: Can be used with most oils, but goes especially well with chamomile, eucalyptus, fennel, frankincense, geranium, juniper, peppermint, sandalwood, and ylang-ylang.
Safety Data: Consult with physician if pregnant or under doctor's care. Test small area of skin prior to use for sensitivity. If skin irritation occurs, do not use water to wash, but use a carrier oil to dilute. Wash hands thoroughly after using oils. Avoid contact with eyes. Not for use on children 6 years and younger.
