Action: Melissa is used as an antibacterial, antidepressant, antihistamine, antispasmodic, antiviral, sedative and antimicrobial. It may help with allergies, asthma, anxiety, bronchitis, coughs, colds, cold sores, depression, eczema, fevers, hypertension, indigestion, insect bites, insomnia, menstrual problems, migraines, nausea, palpitations, shock, sore throat, vertigo and vomiting.
Application: Apply topically to the wrists, behind the ears, and on the neck and face as well as point of need. Rub between hands and breathe in the fragrance. Can be used as perfume. Diffuse.
Fragrance Influence: Delicate and lemony.
