Action: Myrrh is used as an anti-infection, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antitumor, and astringent oil. It has been used to treat bronchitis, diarrhea, stretch marks, gum disease, and ulcers. It may also help increase appetite, help with asthma and athlete’s foot as well as other skin conditions.

Application: Apply topically to the wrists, behind the ears, and on the neck and face as well as point of need. Rub between hands and breathe in the fragrance. Dilute with carrier oil. Can be used as perfume.

Fragrance Influence: Myrrh is uplifting and promotes awareness.

Safety Data: Consult with physician if pregnant or under doctor's care. Test small area of skin prior to use for sensitivity. If skin irritation occurs, do not use water to wash, but use a carrier oil to dilute. Wash hands thoroughly after using oils. Avoid contact with eyes. Not for use on children 6 years and younger. GRAS for human consumption by the FDA.
