Action: Spearmint oil is used for colic, bronchitis, nausea, indigestion, headaches, sores, and scabs. May increase metabolism, and aid the respiratory system. It can also help with skin conditions such as acne and eczema. Spearmint oil is used as an antibacterial, anticatarrhal, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anbtiseptic, antispasmodic, and stimulant. Spearmint is also used for heavy and slow menstrual cycles and migraines.
Application: Apply topically to the wrists, behind the ears, and on the neck and face as well as point of need. Rub between hands and breathe in the fragrance. Can be used as perfume. Diffuse.
Fragrance Influence: Spearmint oil acts as an antidepressant to help relieve mental strain and fatigue. Very uplifting.
