Action: Marjoram is antibacterial, anti-infectious, antiseptic, antispasmodic, arterial vasodilator, digestive stimulant, diuretic, expectorant and a sedative. You can use marjoram for arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, constipation, cramps, insomnia, migraines, parasympathetic nervous system (tones) and regulates blood pressure. It also may be used for anxiety, burns, cold sores, fungus and viral infections, menstrual cramps, ringworm, sunburn and water retention.
Application: Apply topically to your wrists, behind your ears, the back of your neck, the bottom of your feet as well as points of need. Rub between your hands and breathe in the fragrance. You can also diffuse this oil.
Fragrance Influence: Marjoram helps bring peace and helps you sleep. It also helps warm the body and warm the emotions.
Companion Oils: Blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, chamomile, cypress, lavender, orange, nutmeg, rosewood and ylang-ylang.
