Action: Wintergreen is used as an anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, analgesic, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, diuretic, disinfectant and as a stimulant. It may help with acne, bladder infections, eczema, fever reducer, obesity, and to alleviate bone pain. Can be used for tendonitis, hypertension, inflammation, rheumatism, and muscle pain. It has a cortizone like action and can aid as bone stimulant. It also aids the lymphatic system.
Application: Apply topically to the wrists, behind the ears, and on the neck and face as well as point of need. Rub between hands and breathe in the fragrance. Can be used as perfume.
Safety Data: Avoid if you are pregnant. Test small area of skin prior to use for sensitivity. If skin irritation occurs, do not use water to wash, but use a carrier oil to dilute. Wash hands thoroughly after using oils. Avoid contact with eyes. Not for use on children 6 years and younger. Not for use for people with epilepsy. Test a small area for allergies!
