Action: Ylang-Ylang is used as an antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, and as a sedative. It may help with anxiety, depression, help balance equilibrium, and overall emotional balance. It is a great overall tonic. Can aid in lowering blood pressure and heart function. Apply over thymus to help stimulate the immune system.
Application: Apply topically to the wrists, behind the ears, and on the neck and face as well as point of need. Rub between hands and breathe in the fragrance. Can be used as perfume.
Fragrance Influence: Calming and relaxing. Stimulates adrenal glands. Influences are joy and peace.
Safety Data: Consult with physician if pregnant or under doctor's care. Test small area of skin prior to use for sensitivity. If skin irritation occurs, do not use water to wash, but use a carrier oil to dilute. Wash hands thoroughly after using oils. Avoid contact with eyes. Not for use on children 6 years and younger.
